What are the advantages of registering my company and products with Kwik Order(KO)?

There are many advantages. The main advantages are:

  • Your customers can order their goods at any time from anywhere. There is no need for them to be restricted to 'phone in orders, only when you are open for business, or have the inconvenience of engaged telephones or have language differences between caller and respondant.
  • You receive the order exactly as the customer has selected the goods. No transcription errors or misunderstanding.
  • Fully automated process reduces paper cost.
  • Save money, in that fewer credits will be passed. The cost of transporting of the correct goods to the customer is the main saving. e.g. One quote to transport goods from East Rand to Vaal Triangle is R25.00 per 15 Kilograms. One trip to deliver 300 Kgs will cost R500.00. Two or three such trips per month saved, adds up to quite a sum.

How will I know when there are orders for me to process?

An email is sent when a new order is processed. Some rules are applied to ensure that you are not swamped with unnecessary emails. If this is the second (or subsequent) order for a particular day then No email is sent.

What happens if any of my company's details change?

Full maintenance facilities are available. Company details, Download File layout, Company representatives, Products, Prices and Customer arrangements can be modified, added or deleted at any time.

What if I am a retailer and only want to register as a customer?

This is perfectly acceptable and FREE for companies like this.

My company doesn't have an automated accounting system and therefore we need orders to be printed.

There is an option to have all orders emailed instead of being downloaded.

My company has many different product types and we do not want to have to maintain these all online.

All you have to do, is provide a normal text file in the format as specified in the "Procedures" page. This file can be uploaded and all changes will be applied to your products database.

We have different cost structures for our customers based on order levels, terms etc.

When you activate the account for your customer, you can specify whether the customer is charged at retail prices or cost prices and at what percent to markup these prices or what discount must be applied. e.g. One customer may have terms of Cost Plus 10% and another may have terms of Retail less 5%. Neither customer will see the others price structures via the KO system.

We do not want just anybody to order on our behalf.

When you register, you can setup as many users as you like to the system. You can also specify what access level each user(representative) has. You can therefore have one person who does your ordering and another who maintains your company data. Each person has their own User Id and Password, which either you, as company representative can maintain, or they can maintain for themselves. But you have the overall control. ALL ACCESS IS PASSWORD PROTECTED.

What will this cost me?

The fee to register as a supplier is R0.25c per invoice received with a minimum fee of R250.00 per month. If you elect to pay by Debit Order, you are rewarded with a R60.00 monthly discount.
